The Crystal-Look Spiked Pillars are inserted directly into the cake down to the bottom plate.
The next cake is then placed on a plate on top of this set of pillars. By using the pointed pillars you can partly camouflage a cake that may be slightly crooked.
The cake pillars with crystal appearance are transparent and can be filled with small candies or ribbon or used to present sugar flowers. The use of wooden or plastic sticks for strength, the dowels, is no longer necessary due to the use of these pointed pillars.
